With only a few days left until recruitment start, anticipation is growing and so are the number of questions about recruitment week! Here a few examples with some extra information for those interested: Q: Where is your house located? A: 208 East Cherry Street, north of the Al Neuharth Media Center Q: If I'm a sophomore or upperclassmen interested in Greek Life, can I still come to events? A: Absolutely! Drop on by during one of our scheduled events Q: Who can I go to for more information on the chapter? Letter From The President Coming to USD I had no idea what I wanted—let alone debate on joining a fraternity. Whenever the thought of a fraternity arose, the typical stereotypes of being in one suddenly popped into my head (partying, extreme hazing etc.). Chance would have it that one fateful evening my freshman roommate mentioned he was headed downtown to this organization fair to check out some fraternity. He subsequently asked me if I wanted to tag along, little did I know my life was about to be forever changed.   I pledged Phi Kappa Theta in the fall of 2010 and I am forever grateful. Today, not only have I gained numerous friends and social abilities, I have also gained the ability to join other organizations while still being able to manage my time effectively so that I may excel academically. The alumni of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity, South Dakota Alpha Xi chapter are proud to announce this year's Founders' Awards recipients.  We are very proud of all of their accomplishments as Phi Kaps and wish them all the best in their future endeavors!  This year marks the 5th year our local chapter has given these awards and we look forward to honoring many more of our active and associate members in the future.  Congratulations!
